OnTrack Calculator (ABN 97 276 795 810) provides this website and calculator (“OnTrack”, “we”, “us”). This policy explains what happens to information when you use this website.

1. What you enter into the calculator

Your age, retirement age, salary, super balance, contributions and investment choices are processed by your browser, along with the results the calculator produces. This information isn’t sent to us or stored by us, and we can’t see it.

The web address only ever shows which screen you’re on (for example #results), never your numbers.

2. Technical information when you visit

When you visit, your browser asks Cloudflare, which hosts and delivers this website, for the site’s files. To do that Cloudflare processes ordinary technical information, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages and files requested, the page you came from, and the time of the request. Cloudflare handles this information under its own terms and privacy policy. We don’t use it to identify you.

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how the site is used and how quickly it loads. It provides aggregated information such as visits, page views, referrers, countries, browsers, devices and page-load performance. We have configured it to exclude visitors in the European Union.

Cloudflare states that Web Analytics doesn’t use cookies or local storage, fingerprint visitors, track individuals across its customers’ websites, or log URL query strings. We see aggregated reports rather than a record of an individual visitor’s activity.

3. Cookies and tracking

OnTrack doesn’t set cookies and doesn’t use advertising, remarketing or social-media tracking. The fonts used on the site are served from our own site, so your browser doesn’t contact Google or other font providers. Apart from Cloudflare Web Analytics, described above, the site doesn’t load third-party scripts or content.

4. If you contact us

There is no contact form. If you email us at [email protected], we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include. We use it only to respond to you and to keep a reasonable record of the conversation, and we don’t sell it or use it for marketing. Please don’t send sensitive information such as tax file numbers or account details. Emails sent to this address are routed through Cloudflare to a Gmail account, operated by Google, where they are stored.

5. Who else may handle information

Cloudflare, Inc. and its group companies operate a global network, so the technical information described in section 2 may be processed in countries outside Australia. We don’t sell personal information or disclose it to others for advertising or marketing. We may disclose information where required by law.

6. Security

The site is delivered over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Because your calculator inputs and results never reach us, there is no OnTrack database containing them.

7. Your choices and questions

You can use the calculator with analytics blocked by your browser or an extension; it will work the same. To ask what personal information we hold about you (for example, an email you sent), to have it corrected or deleted, or to make a complaint, email us. If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

If how the site handles information changes, we’ll update this page and the date above.
