These terms apply when you use the OnTrack website and calculator, provided by OnTrack Calculator (ABN 97 276 795 810) (“OnTrack”, “we”, “us”). By using OnTrack you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it.
1. What OnTrack is
OnTrack is a free calculator that illustrates how an Australian superannuation balance could grow and what retirement income it may support, for one person or a couple, using the details you enter and the assumptions described in the calculator. It is a general-purpose tool: it doesn’t know your full circumstances.
2. Important information
OnTrack gives you an illustration of how your super could grow and the retirement income it may support. It’s based on the assumptions in “View the details”, so it shouldn’t be treated as a forecast.
It only uses the details you enter, and leaves out things that matter, like the Age Pension, fees and insurance. See “What isn’t included” in “View the details”.
It isn’t intended to be relied on to make a decision about a financial product. Please consider getting advice from an Australian financial services licensee before making any financial decisions.
The assumptions used, the reasons for them and what is not included are shown on each results page under “View the details”. Please read them: actual outcomes will differ from any calculator’s projections.
3. Assumptions and changing rules
Results depend on assumptions, including investment returns, wage growth, inflation and how long retirement income is planned to last. Some assumptions reflect requirements or guidance for superannuation calculators, while others are OnTrack modelling assumptions. Actual returns, inflation, wages and your circumstances will differ. Superannuation and tax rules, thresholds and caps can change. We review OnTrack periodically, but you should check current rules before relying on any particular threshold, cap or legislative setting.
4. Using OnTrack
- OnTrack is for your personal, non-commercial use. You’re welcome to print, save or screenshot your own results.
- Please don’t misuse the site: for example, don’t try to disrupt or overload it, access it in an automated way that burdens it, or probe or interfere with its security.
- Please don’t copy, republish or present the calculator or its content as your own, or build it into another product or service, without our written permission.
- You’re responsible for the accuracy of what you enter.
5. Intellectual property
The OnTrack calculator, its code, text, design and branding belong to OnTrack Calculator or its licensors. Open-source libraries and fonts used in the site stay under their own licences. Nothing in these terms transfers any ownership to you.
6. Availability
OnTrack is provided free and “as is”. It’s hosted by third parties, and we may change, suspend or withdraw it at any time. We don’t guarantee it will always be available or error-free.
OnTrack links to other websites for your convenience. We don’t control those websites or their content.
7. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy, or any guarantee, warranty or other term, that you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other law that can’t be excluded.
Subject to that, and to the extent the law allows: we give no warranty that OnTrack is accurate, complete or suitable for your purposes; we’re not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, OnTrack or its results; and where a law lets us limit our liability for something that can’t be excluded, our liability is limited, at our option, to supplying the service again or paying the cost of having it supplied again.

9. Changes, governing law and contact
We may update these terms by changing this page; the date above shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria. Questions can be sent to [email protected].
